Troubleshooting and FAQs
Question: Can a system administrator restrict the usage of repository licenses?
A system administrator can restrict the usage of repository licenses. The "-com" option available on the License Manager is used to restrict the percentage of authorization check outs.
For example, if a license service is started with an option "-com 0", then no application can check out a repository license from the License Manager.
Question: Once a repository license is checked out, does system clock tampering affect the usage of the licensed application?
Yes. Once a repository license is checked out, it is equivalent to a tandalone license with clock-tamper check flag turned ON. Therefore, any tampering with the system clock stops the running application.
